We were asking something not impossible. Also with the latest upgrades we havent seen anything new (except fixing something broken with another upgrade).

i used to play mkv with my external hdd and no troubles,till yesterday. I plugged in and all seems ok,but when i hit play on any files (mkv or mp3 or .ts wich were played with no problems) the tv...

totally agree. I've got a small and cheap Telefunken and yeah it got it too. And a 52' brand new philips it doesnt......dont think its pretty normal.

Im checking with mkvmerge and i see that AC3 track is the first, right before the dts one. As i wrote, its tagged as default track but not as the forced one. Maybe is that the option...

well hope someone will take few time to, at least, fix these important HDMI bug.
Meanwhile id like to know a thing: i've got these mkv file with one ac3 audio track wich is the default track and...

Thanks Thomas, but i guess its just a commercial choice. Thats what i meant in the early msg, and thats why id like to see it even if i dont have a 2011 tv!

i hope to see usb recording in these new firmware. I cannot imagine why a tv that can show a full bitrate1080p mkv cannot record a simple (or even HD) stream from the tv!
