isn't the 7000 series supposed to allow "Super Resolution" option on the screen ? The specification sheet lists Super Resolution with the other features, but in my TV menu there isn't...

I agree with you. I would like this feature, but it's since December I asked for this in this forum; I'm going to think they will never add support for AVCHD files.

I'm really disappointed with Philips for this. I will NEVER buy this system as protest against bad service to long-term customers.
