    yes all the devices have the latest firmware. So...

    yes all the devices have the latest firmware. So it's not that. It's like the "handshake" between the Bluray player and the Onkyo 609 goes wrong.

    Setup:

    Blu-ray player: Philips BDP7600/12
    TV: Philips 58PFL9956H/12
    Front and center speaker: KEF
    back speakers: Audio Monitor
    All have latest firmware

    Problem: Some movies in "regular"...
