not sure what the problem was, but the disc was firmly stuck, had tried everything and nothing worked until I upgraded the firmware, then it just worked. the drive is a bit slow reading discs still...

problem solved. upgraded the firmware, did a restart and bam. disc ejected.

would the firmware upgrade that was released help with this problem?

having the same problem. the repair centre said it would be 2 weeks and they are on the other side of the city. hardly convenient. thinking of just taking it locally and voiding the warranty.

Hi, new to the forum, am hoping someone can help. I have a disc stuck in the HTS7140 and no matter what I do I cant get it out. is there a force eject of any kind? its driving me crazy.
