Exectly the half picture...it's possibly the lcd control. First you should update your tv to last software. If you have already the latest, use the alternative option to load again.

I am not sure, but i think the option should be there. I would try:

- reinstall TV

- reinstall TV and choose a different country (f.e. germany)

You should read the last pages of your manual. There you find the working screen resolutions.

At start up (heating up) of lcd a "infra red radiation" will emit by lcd-panel. This can distub the remote control.

First you should install latest software from support website. That will not solve the problem. Then try a "reinstall TV" at user-menu. Ok now?

I think it's a defect of display. For example dirt between the lcd-layers or a deformation of one layer.

This looks like a display (or tcon) error. Because tcon i mostly a part of display, i think the "display unit" is defect.

For confirmation you should carry the tv to a repair center.

Do you have a picture?

A display problem is possible...can you take a picture?

- diconnect mains 2 minutes
- update to latest software
- reinstall tv

try it with manual method:

- create a folder "upgrades"
- put autorun.upg in this folder
- press menu - setup - software update - local update

- disconnect mains (2 minutes)

With the adapter (check tv supplies) you have a normal scart socket.

I think, you can find the time only at info-screen (right bottom corner) or maybe in epg-screen.

You need a little more time but i recommend you should reinstall your tv.


If still the same, contact your local dealer.

disable automatic channels update.
check if location in menu is set on home.

Can you change the channel with remote control?

If 2 yes:
TV starts up und "works", but you hav a picture. This must be a defect. Contact your dealer.
