this can be because CH+/CH- sends different commands than previous models P+/P- keys
with 46pfl9707s old remote's P+/P- buttons can switch services, but ignored in menu sections

Connection: DVI->HDMI cable(also tried HDMI cable with DVI->HDMI adopter)

when chose modes `Stereo` or `Left` then sound is present on both sides
same problem on TVs...

yeah, black level now are perfect when sit direct to the TV - ~20-30 degree
but on higher angles black becomes lot whither and...

Philips TVs are just good screens, as sat receivers they cant many things which are obvious with ten year old setupbox

like Dreamboxes have Enigma2 where some parts lieke drivers etc are closed source, but all user interface are open

most of models have ambient light sensor, it can be use to detect room light is too bright to able see Ambilight on the wall

the problem looks similar as i described about 2009/2010y(**pfl***4*; **pfl***5*) models...

what aspectratio is send by your box trough HDMI, most of external devices can send only 16:9

there are long story how i get able 4:3 flag on Dreambox's HDMI(DVI)...

is RF additional feature or new tv models will not listening on IR at all?

currently i have 42pfl9703h and noticed my setupbox's(Dreambox dm8000) RC is much comfortable than tv's rc
same opinion...
