Black screen when playing avi-files

Bug: When I try to play some avi-videos from a DLNA-server (Twonky),
the screen is black , only sound is playing.
These videos are rendered without any problems on my PC.

TV is 37PFL 6007k/12 with newest firmware x.83 (downloaded and installed via USB)
but also the previous firmware version had this problem.

Could you please post some relevant info about the media file you are trying to play?

There are certain video codecs that are supported, and other codecs that are not supported by the TV and/or twonky.

The best tool I know to get this info is MediaInfo ( http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/de )
