    hum and background noise

    I have a B120 baby monitor. There is a horrible hum (sounds like a ground loop) that always shows the mic at 60% or so even if there is no sound in the room. Is there a way to reduce this noise? I have the alerts set appropriately so it doesn't alert on this noise, but I don't see a reason why i should hear any humming or buzzing at all.

    Hello Oscar,

    No, there is nothing at all near, and nothing else plugged into that wall outlet.

    Frankly, the performance with this device has been so terrible in general (confusing software, unresponsive software, dangerously intermittent broadcasting) that i'm going to return it.
