Philips 16GB Gogear Ariaz SA4-series MP3/MP4 Player - Playback Speed Control?

I would like to purchase this model but need to know if I can adjust the playback speed of an MP3 Podcast file (eg., 0.5x to 2.0x without change in pitch, as is the case with my Sony Walkman I MP3 player.) I would like to place the podcast file in the folder of my choosing.

The online manual for this player states you can select the play speed during playback of an Audiobook, but doesn't specify the range of play speed and whether this is only available for audiobooks (I'm assuming the audiobooks are in MP3 format.)

Is this playback speed control available only in the audiobook folder (restricted to audiobooks only)?

I own the same MP3 player you are looking at and I do not see any way to adjust the playback speed. I tried everything I could. Haven't tried it on the audio books yet. I have never needed that option with any audio books.

Decided to buy the Philips 16GB Gogear Ariaz Player at sale price. When I get it, I will test for playback speed control and respond with what I find.
