Don't know how to get it started!
Hi!i just bought a philips tv, model 42pfl4307k. I have connected via HDMI my laptop which by the way has a blu-ray driver installed. Although I have many movies in 3d, in every possible type and file extension, I don't know how to make the tv know that it plays 3d and activate the menu that says side by side,etc..Have in mind that the movies play directly from the hard drive via players that support 3d,and not from the blu ray driver.Thank you

Hi marion001,
Sorry to see you've been having problems with your TV.
It's worth noting that the 3D should work on all HDMI devices. As long as it's receiving the right signal, its automatic.
Have you tried watching a 2D film from the PC on the TV? Does that work?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Rafe.
