Carstudio for Android

I use a google nexus 4.
On the whole I like the app, big buttons are handy when you're driving but here's the problem.
If I try to stream audio while I use CarStudio there are frequent Hiccups in the stream.
If I use my phone to connect to the stereo without running the app the problem goes away.
Conclusion: The App needs an update.
Please fix it.

Actually, no the problem doesn't go away when I don't use the CarStudio App. But I will add that my nephew iphone produced the same result.
I have tried resetting the system.
