    BTS5000 noise

I bouight a BTS set. And when power is on it is making a permanent noise, even when nothing is connected to it. it is like an electronic whistle noise in the background. the level of it is different whether AUX, BT, OPT... are selected. But it is permanent. It is only gone when something is connected passively (like charging) on the USB port. Otherwise always there. looks like power supply problem? Any workaround. See Internet also speak (eg youtbe films) about same issue: hissing ? Who can help?

    Additional though :
problem at the internal power converter? , which makes the DC voltage for the speakers? switching-power supply, inducing noise on the system ? noise gone when power is drained from the pwer supply ? eg when my cell was 'charging' from the usb port ?

    Hi,

Yesterday I received my new BTS5000W speakers.
I plugged them in and experienced exact the same problem as described above.
Is there a solution for this?
If there isn't, I will send the speakers back. The sound is to annoying...

    Hello Dzjim,

    Thank you for your post.

Please check if there is an electromagnetic interference from other electronic devices in the house.

    Kind regards,

I've put the speakers on 3 different places in the house.
The sound is present on any of these places.
    So I don't think that's the reason...

    Grtz,
    Dzjim

Yes. Speakers delivered earlier this week (BTS5000 SX5). And noise right as out of the box. Also set up speaker in different places of the house (downstairs, upstairs,...) all with same ,oise. Not bass or low tone noise but rather a bit sharp, and like a switch would go on and off very fast.

    Hello Dzjim and Marnick,

In this situation I would suggest to take your speakers back to the dealer as this may be out-of-the-box factory defect.

    Kind regards,
