'Generic pnp monitor' message in Windows 7 64 bits only at 60 Hz
Hi,
I am using my 32PFL7675H/12 television as a computer monitor (in PC mode) on my Windows 7 64 bits system (2x Geforce 560 Ti in SLI mode).
However, the computer only recognized the screen as a PnP monitor with a maximum frequency of 60 Hz.
I would like the computer to be able to use this television at the full 100 Hz frame rate of which this tv is capable, so I can use Nvidia 3D glasses (which require a minimum of 100 Hz, although 120 Hz is preferred, but 100 Hz should work just fine).
Is there any way I can make this work? I spent about two hours googling to no avail.
I'd be much obliged for any helpful hints/hacks/tips.
Kind regards,
PC
