I purchased this product in September 2010. Had no problems until recently. Now when we are watching tv, (not through the recorder), the recorder actually jumps on to the av channel without anyone touching it. At first this was happening occasionally but now it happens frequently and is a real nuisance. Also when watching a recorded programme, it has now started to stop, jump to another channel and come back on to the recorded programme about 10 minutes later. It is like the recorder has a life of its own! It has become such a problem that we can't really watch tv with the recorder on and so cannot record programmes. I have called Philips support line but they cannot provide a solution. It seems they have never heard of this before. I can't believe I am the only person this has happened to. I have tried retuning but this did not help
