Easylink on 37PFL9732D/10
I have a 37PFL9732D/10 tv for a number of years now and it has given excellent performance. I recently purchased an HD satellite receiver which has easylink available. Easylink works with my other Philips tv 19PFL3403/10. I would like it to work with the larger 37PFL tv but cannot see any reference to easylink in any of the menus. It is updated to the latest software that I can see 000.064.014.022

Hi,
I think, this TV does not support HDMI-CEC (Easylink). It's just to old.

So much for updating the software and keeping tv which cost over €1,000 up to date

Hi,
your TV is some years old now. At that time, this feature wasn't standard...

Thanks for the reply Toengal but Philips shouldn't abandon older sets that are perfectly servicable and working perfectly. It would seem to me that Easylink would be easy to include in a software update

Hi,
CEC has been in the HDMI specification since version 1.0, but only began to be used in consumer electronics products with HDMI version 1.3a (source: Wikipedia).
