Mandatory upgrade to V5.10S

Dear Wireless Hi Fi users,

Firmware version V5.10S for AW1000, AW2000, AW3000, AW5000 & AW9000 has a number of significant improvements. It will work better with the latest Airstudio app and experience the improvements including Spotify service playlist and enhanced stability. If your device has not yet been upgraded to V5.10S, the device will get a mandatory upgrade over the next few days when you access internet radio or the music service.

Dear Tereza,

I don't understand why this is a mandatory upgrade. Remember we bought and own these devices, if we want to stick with an older version of the software than that should be possible.
Certainly after all the, what shall I say to keep it kindly, rather slow creeping support we have received on these products.

this software update will provide you with enhanced usability and stability of your device along with improvements on Spotify features including the corrected issues with the incomplete playlists under the starred folder.
