Alerts
So what's the deal with alerts? Only one of my three cameras alerts my iPhone. I have the latest firmware, and alerts are enabled. I know the cameras are sensing the sound/motion that should create an alert, because when I check my dropbox I see bunches of files that have resulted from the auto-recording set off by a sound or motion event, but they don't actually alert my iPhone.
So essentially someone could be walking around and screaming in front of the camera, and the only way I'd know about it is if I happen to check my dropbox account after this is happened.

Same here: Tried everything, have all the updates, but suddenly no more alerts. I will return the cams to the store if this is not fixed, because without notifications, they are basically useless to me.

Chat with Philips Support
I used the support chat to find out more, and all they could tell me is that the issue is known and they're working on it. Could not tell me when to expect an update. Meanwhile, the cameras not only don't alert, but they also react with a delay of an hour or so. Completely useless...
For everybody speaking German, this is the link to the chat: http://www.support.philips.com/suppo...userCountry=de
Use the chat for "Home Cinema & Audio, Multimediaplayer, Telefone, Fernbedienungen, digitale Fotorahmen" and have your model number ready (under the cam).

Thanks for the link. I have just called Philips. Their answer: They are aware of the problem, but cannot tell IF or WHEN the issue will be fixed. Those who have recently bought the camera and need the alert should bring the camera back to the store. By the way: Philips used to be a leading company in consumer electronics...
