Pfl6007t/12 no sound when playing DVD via HDMI

Hi.

Have just a purchased this tv, and everything is great, BUT I can't get any sound on the tv when I play DVDs on my LG dvd player. picture is fine. It is hooked up to the tv with a HDMI cabel. Have tried various audio settings on both tv and dvd player.

The DVD player works fine on my other 32" tv philips and my old lcd tv using the very same hdmi cabel. Both sound and picture is fine. Have also tried another HDMI cable and tried using all 4 HDMI ports, buth without any luck. Still no sound when playing dvds.

Sound is fine when watching tv, smart tv, playing media files via USB.

Also tried to restore factory settings

What could be wrong.

maybe there is a setting at "EasyLink" in the configuration menu that influences this behavior.
