How to view 3D stills on 42PFL7606?
Hi, I'm a new owner of 42PFL7606 TV.
I'm doing 3D photography a lot, and would like to try watching the (still) pictures on the TV.
So, I have a TIFF/JPEG/whatever side-by-side parallel-view images shot with Loreo 3D lens. The resolution is around 12 megapixels for the whole stereo-pair.
What I shoud do in order to view such pictures in 3D properly on my TV?
Thank you in advance,
Oleg.Last edited by olegk; 05-20-2013 at 02:42 PM. Reason: typo

Hi,
you cannot watch 3D pictures with your TV.
However, if you have a Blu-ray player you can watch a picture there (side-by-side) an switch manually the TV to Side-by-Side (only works on HDMI with HD resolution).

Hmm... this doesn't sound good, but thanks anyway.
Well, I have a non-3D BluRay player with USB port; can I use it to watch the pictures? And if yes, should I process them somehow?
Thanks,
Oleg.

Hi,
what about trying? ;-)
Just try to watch one picture on the BDP via USB-Stick. Then switch TV manually to Side-by-Side...

Actually I would prefer to save the time on trying.
By the way I have a hint telling this won't work: when I play a 3D SBS movie on a non-3D media player (connected by HDMI 1.4), I see two pictures on the screeen, but the TV doesn't allow switching into 3D mode.
But, going to the beginning, I'm sure I saw a thread saying the PFL7606 should play JPS files; I took this for granted when decided to buy this TV. With this thread I tried to go further and figure out how to preprocess the images for the proper viewing. And ... what a push-back ...
