22PFL4507 - USB video and photos won't play

Other TVs I own you can simply insert a USB stick and play videos and pictures.

The 22PFL4507...not so much. I get an unsupported device warning too.

Is there a trick to getting USB sticks recognized on this unit???

    Hi..thanks for the reply.

Is there any other way to update the software without a USB? Ive tried multiple sticks and I keep getting an "unsupported device" warning..or something similar.

    Thanks.

    Hi Jedstorm

Please see the user manual for files and formatted USB sticks/drives the TV supports. You can find this on page 28.

On the following page (page 29 in user manual), you can see how to update your TV to latest software.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the reference.

Disappointing to find out all of my media cannot be play through USB on this TV. Reminder to do my research and not to make assumptions based on other brands.
