Hello

I have TV (42PDL6907T/12) and the remote control seems not working any way. Even the power button is not working. I also tried it with my old Philips Micro Hifi System (MC145/02) and did not see any reaction. I also checked that the batteries are ok. Can I do the installation some way without the remote control and start watching TV? May the remote control work with my old Hifi or vice versa? When I am sure the problem is not in TV, I could try to get working remote control from the shop I bought my TV. I will by much easier than carry the whole TV back to the shop.
