Fidelio/DockStudio Software Nightmare
Hi,
I am very please with my Docking Station AS-140 but what's up with the software???
How can such a good hardware is poorly supported with a crappy software???
- The application freezes (I always need to start it twice). The start-up and shutdown of the app is really a disaster.
- The interface is not fluid.
- Brightness at it lowest it lights up the room.
I could continue....
... but just please read the Play Store reviews and get to work on the software please.
Hello Philips? Anyone home? If you cannot put a decent team on the software please make the code open source and the Android community will take charge of it.
I really hope you get your App as good as the hardware deserved.

Did you already uninstall it and downloaded it again. Also which Phone and Android version do you have?

Thanks for the reply, I will try that tonight and report back.
I have a Nexus 4 with latest Jelly Bean (v4.2.1)
My posted might sound bitter but that fight with the software was a frustrating experience. But what was the most frustrating is when I started to see all these people having the same problem in the Play Store reviews and forums, plus the Fidelio App has not been updated since January 14, 2012 and DocStudio since September 17, 2012 that is when I started to be bitter about it.
If there is a will from Philips to get this software on par with the hardware I am willing to beta test new revision and give them my input as a user if they need to.

Hi Oscar,
It seems that the App is much more stable now. Just don't understand why we need to do that but the start-up and shutdown seems to work much better.
Still Philips don't let that stop you to update and improve to this App. It should be on par as the hardware and at this time it is not...

The apps are a disaster and the problems you have are similar to the ones I have (Nexus 4, galaxy nexus and a Galaxy S2). I doubt it that Philips is paying any attention to our remarks about their software, but I still hope they release an SDK so we can fix this shit on our own. Why o why did I buy a Philips product again after knowing this would happen.
