I connected my computer to my tv with a HDMI cable. I want to connect the tv to a stereo and use its speakers instead of the tv speakers
I bought a Stereo audio to 3.5 mm "Y" cable (http://www.ionaudio.com/images/produ...Y_Cable_Lg.jpg) put the end with 1 pin in the AUX of my stereo and the other side with 2 pins in my tv (the bottom left and bottom center hole in this picture: http://i47.tinypic.com/11cfxh1.jpg)

The sound keeps coming through the tv speakers (the stereo has the aux channel selected). Anybody knows what I am doing wrong?
