I just installed the Songbird application. I had an external USB HDD connected to the system. It showed up in the songbird application and I started syncronization of music against that device. Where I had some music files (mp3:s) I suspect that songbird mistook the HDD for valid MP3 player or something like that. Because now my files are gone.

Can any one please help me get the files back? They're not in the synchronization folder I have changed settings for folder ro show all files. They're not to be found on my external HDD anymore. Where are they? Can they be salvaged?
