40pfl8007, HTS and DTS
Dear all,
I have a problem with the audio on my philips TV.
I've connected the 40pfl8007 TV to my HTS (a harman kardon BDS 577 which supports DTS) with a HDMI cable.
The cable is connected to HDMI 1 of the TV and the proper HDMI ARC outlet on the HTS.
When I try to watch a movie via DLNA I get the message 'audio format not supported'. I'm sure this worked before with this particular movie. The movie I'm watching is an MKV with DTS that is streamed with PS3 Media Server. Before this worked perfectly, but now I get no audio.
How to get this to work again?Last edited by Mibber; 02-03-2013 at 08:41 AM.

Hi,
DTS is not supported on your TV (even no passthrough).

Use MKV2AC3 to convert DTS to AC3...
It's no solution but a workaround until Philips fixes this permanently...

Ok, weird that I got this to work before.
Maybe I changed a setting in PS3 Media Server which is what I use to stream to my TV.
Thanks for the help.
