poorest designed carafe ever.. phillips rant.

i recently purchased a new blur grinder drip coffee machine and xelsis super auto espresso maker. the espresso maker had to go in for repairs within 2 weeks of getting it and the carafe for the coffee maker has got to be the worst design ever.... drips no matter how slow/fast you pour, with/without the cover... i really wish i could take it back. everytime i make a pot of coffee to relax in the morning i end up getting pissed because water spills when i pour it into the reservoir and coffee spills once its made when i pour it into a cup (at least for this i can stand over the sink). i can't believe its just me, i've tried every which way to pour it... can anybody help????

btw - i've never had good experiences with sonic care toothbrushes either.. had three sets and they always die in about a yr.. guess its my own fault. i should know better by now than to purchase phillips products

UPDATE - my POS xelsis super(POS)express maker just died AGAIN!!!! second time within a month of getting it (okay.. a month of using it.. have "had" for 5 weeks, but two of those weeks it was getting repaired)... will phillips replace immediately or make me send it in for two weeks (AGAIN)? doubtful. i like the thought of the products, but phillips products are crap.
