    42PFL6067 streaming

    Hello,
just bought this TV and I'm disappointed about streaming.
I'm using cabled network and it is just not possible to watch a movie (mkv), that is stored on my pc.
I've tried Serviio, Twonky, mediamanager, but the movie just freezes.
It seems that a lot of Philips series TV's have this problem.
I find it strange that there is no solution.

hey ronny, did you tried to connect the tv and pc directly via cable, without any other device in between?
i use a nas with twonky and lots of big mkv files, if i connect the nas and the tv to my router this can be very bad because the router does something scarry to the traffic.
but if i connect the nas directly to the tv via a crosscable everything is fine

Hello, I didn't try to connect my pc directly with the tv, I guess I need a hdmi cable of 15 meters, or how should I connect them?
I also noticed that when I play mkv thru my AC Ryan playonhd, the tv often freezes for just 1/10 of a second, not a big problem but is start to annoy me.
I guess the new series of philips tv's just can't handle mkv files that well.
My old philips (5 years old) doesn't has this problem.
