sound range aw2000 overdone
Apart from the issues discussed on this forum, I noticed another behavior that I do not understand: the ridiculous sound levels that are "preprogrammed". Only the first say 4 clicks are usefull, all the rest is nice for giving an show in a stadium but way to loud for recidential use. Reducing the range would also allow for a more subtle handling of the sound levels Maybe something to concider for the next firmware?

The volume bar? I'd rather stay friends with my neighbours! Seriously, the volume bar is useless. The intervals are way to small. I think someone already proposed a +/- button. The twonky app is even worse in this respect, by the way.

Hmm, which speakers you have connected ?
2 Ohm speakers ?
I saw this set in the shop, looked fine to me with the speakers they connected.

6ohm. Never had problems with these on various receivers and amplifiers.

I completely agree that the sound level is much to high and that it is very hard to control (with the button and with the app). I use normal 8 ohm speakers. It is a silly mistake that philips has to correct.

+1 and I have 8 Ohms speakers.
BTW, I like the sound of the AW2000 really good with my B&W speakers.

The sound levels and especially the control of it, start to annoy me more and more. In trying to increase the level a tiny bit I by accident woke up the entire neighbourhood. Please make this a number one priority!
