Technical feedback for FW 150.83 - for 6/7/8/9000 Series - 2012

Hi all.

The new FW is now live. This thread is for technical feedback only. For other discussions please post in the discussion thread.

Note: All posts need to be approved in this thread, meaning it will not be visable before this is done. No need to repost if not come live.



IMPORTANT: After upgrading your TV, it is necessary to perform a "cold start". This means that, after the TV is running again (after the update), shut down the TV, wait 1 minute (till all components are shut down), and unplug the TV from the mains (pull power cord) for 2 minutes before starting again.

+ subjective a better picture
+ ambilight works as aspected

- broadcast epg: if i use now next, there's no information, the panel is empty, if i switch to guide and look there, there is an information, if i now going back over the remote control button, i have an information again
- if i streaming a 3d content, the 3d option "less" gives me only the left eye image, in 3d over the tuner it works fine
- missing preset game

Positive:
+ perfect ambiance


1-TV menu is very slow.
2-Remote controller feedbacks are so slow. The TV sound is slow when up/down
3-Smart TV doesn't support Flash Player powered internet pages. Smart menü is very slow.
4-The TV menu sometimes gets locked and keys don't work. Volume up/down and channel forward/backward
keys sometimes get locked and don't work.
5-Password channels on CI+ module don't operate when TV is turned on after being turned off.
The card on CI+ module needs re-altaching after being detached.
6-Even when the motion mode is at minimum it deforms the logosin actions scenes.
7-Even when dinamic backlight setting is turned standart dense horizontal lines appear when daytime
light in films go in to night time lights and vice versa.

-Baclight flickering. Unacceptable horizontal flashes in the middle part of the screen

And BTW...- why "sleep timer" is hidden so deep in menu?! Its kinda sick...

Negative:
"TV switches automatically in a Mode like 'Quick Start'" from 'normal Standby'. Like, because first the 'Quick Start' - Mode is definitely Off and second, the TV does not return automatically back into 'normal Standby'; electrical consumption in 'normal Standby' ~ 0.1 Watt, in 'like "Quick Start"' - mode ~ 23 Watt or more with connected devices.

Details about the error, triggering the error and an existing Workaround, look here, please.
