Upgraded firmware on HTB9150/12 on 09.02.2013 via Wi-Fi. No error messages. Restarted as prompted. My player is now unusable. It boots normally, but freezes 2-3 seconds after the menu appears. I can adjust volume up and down (but no sound) and turn the player on/off, but thats it. No other buttons working on player or remote. There's a blue-ray disc insde. The menu reads "no disc", and the disc was working fine before the upgrade. I can't do another upgrade via Internet or USB stick because the menu freezes. Tried to disconnect from power source, no help. My HTB9150/12 is brand new and was woriking before the upgrade. Help please.

- pull power cord
- replug after 5 minutes
- press eject on remote many time when starting the BDP

With luck, the tray will open.

Didn't work. Even if IPod or USB is selected as source it still locks up. Seems to me this isn't a problem with the inserted disc but with the software on the HTB9150/00. On some internet pages you are adviced to upgrade to v1.04 first before further upgrades. I don't know which version was installed from factory before I upgraded to latest version. I didn't get any warnings before upgrading. Any ideas?

The menu freezes, so I can't install any new firmware. Not from USB or Internet. I've talked to local customer care and they adviced me to bring the HTB9150 in for service. I've owned this Product for 5 days, broken after 3 days. Not impressed with stability. Thanks for your input though. Anybody else had problems or upgrade OK? Based on my experience I wouldn't upgrade to latest firmware version, but maybe I'ts just bad luck that I've received a faulty product.
