Switch channel while recording
Hi,
(Type: 42PFL4307H) When I'm recording to USB HD from the program guide there's a red dot in the upper right corner. If I want to switch to another channel, I am asked to stop recording first. Why? Can I only record programs on the channel I am watching? What's the use of that?

Yes, that's the way it is. The TV only has one tuner (even in cases where this tuner can be used for several different transmission media), and therefore it can only receive one data stream. Switching the channel to another program would mean receiving two channels at the same time - not possible.
