Using 2 headphone sets in the same area: SHD8600
I recently purchased two sets of SHD8600 headphones. They both work well individually connected to the headphone socket of my TV set. When they are both connected (using an RCA double adaptor) and in use at the same time, one or the other of them cuts out intermittently (approx once every 10 minutes). Sometimes they both work OK for up to 30 minutes before one gives up. I then can't switch off the non-operating headphones without removing the batteries (or waiting for 5-10 minutes for them to switch off themselves). Any suggestions? Is one headphone set faulty?

Hi
I have the exact same problem, with tro sets of SHD8600 as well.
This actually makes me fear that this is not just my headphones that's got a defect, but simply a problem that will make this purchase useless :-(

Yes - I have the same fear except that I asked the salesman at time of purchase whether there would be any problems using two together and was told there would not. So, where to from here? Really need some advice from Philips Tech Support a.s.a.p

Problem Solved!
I have now had it confirmed that it is not possible to use two SHD8600 headphones successfully in the same area and that I was given erroneous advice at the point of sale. I wish to acknowledge the assistance of Philip Etherington of Crest Electronics for Philips who explained all of the issues to me and advised me of my rights as a purchaser. I am totally satisfied with the support I was given and the with the outcome. Thankyou!
