xxPFL5605H series native screen refresh rates/inverse telecine?

How does the xxPFL5605H series generally handle different video signals? Is the screen refresh rate truely switched between 24 Hz, 25 Hz, 30 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz or is any speedup or pulldown applied?
Does it support inverse telecine?

The possible refresh rates would interest me as well, considering the possible implementation of 24p playback with a 5:5 pulldown with a firmware upgrade. Not very likely, but I refuse to give up hope
In the meantime, I am helping myself by applying a PAL speedup to my mkv files. Very tedious, but it works, since 25Hz / 50Hz playback is flawless. Thank god, I don't have a bluray player!
My guess is that the TV can at least switch between 100 Hz and 60 Hz. Not sure about 120Hz and there is no "odd" refresh rate like 96Hz.

The "cinema" mode is just another preset. All presets share the same options. There is no "special" mode for 24p playback.

So how does the display handle 24p input?

This depends on the HD Natural Motion setting. When turned off, it does a 2:3 Pulldown, unfortunately. When turned on, the frame interpolation kicks in. However, I have no idea how many frames are interpolated.

2:3 pulldown would require the display to refresh at a rate of 30Hz or a multiple of 30Hz. Doesn't seem to fit with Philips saying the TV has a 100Hz display?

The moderator's explanation doesn't make sense to me. There's no judder when looking at 24p with a refresh rate of 24Hz (or a multiple). Only a pulldown would create judder.
