Very poor software AS111/12

Just buyed the AS111/12.

I thought it could play digital radio at alarm....
I thought it could play mp3 lists from my android phone at alarm....
I thought a device of philips whould have a good piece of software.

After unpacking it took me 2 hours before i got the as111 completely working.
In those two hours the app crashed about 15 times. Two days later i still havent heard a sound of radio. Now after reinstalling 3 times i can finally select a radio station without crashing, unfortunately still no sound.

Is there going to be better sonftware soon or do i need to return the product?

Im very disappointed in Philips right now... everybody asks me how my new gadget works, and i have to tell them
i do not have half of the functions working...

What to do?

I never searched for reviews of philips devices because i know they are gonna be good. After my problems i only found a lot of complains on google. Come on philips....

I would suggest to completely uninstall the app and install it all over again. Have you tried it with any other android phone maybe? Also what phone and android version do you have?
