    Replace rechargeable battery for DS8550/37

    My DS8550/37 docking station no longer holds a charge...only works while connected to external power source.

    Is there a way to change/replace the rechargeable battery without returning it to Philips?

    Welcome to the Philips Support Forum and thank you for reaching out to us about your docking station. What a shame it doesn’t hold a charge any more: ( Well, the battery is built in and we never suggest anyone changing it by him/herself, we always rely on our technicians. But you know what? If the battery isn’t working anymore and you are under warranty then I can’t see a reason no to get in touch with your support center and ask for help.
