Hi,
firmware 3.71.01 includes also an update of the MCU unit. Sometimes it happens, that the update isn't installed successfully. Pleas do the following to check that:
- remove any disc
- press HOME
- pres 8-5-2-0
- take a look at MCU: it should be 0x18 after the 3.71.01 update.
IF NOT, please reinstall the latest firmware (do not pull power cord in between).

Hi there,
as the last update left a lot of issues open, I wonder when the next update is planned
and especially which of the bugs are fixed?
TIA,
Gerhard

Dear Rin,
We are still investigating the release of firmware 3.80 as this should be ready together with the Support Website firmware. Right now, the P4C firmware is still not yet ready.
As for the release note of the version 3.80, you can refer to the below benefits for the moment. We will have a more official one to be uploaded to our Support page:
1. Correct greenish display when HDMI cable is plug in after unit wakes-up (or under CEC wake-up, TV dependent).
2. Improve SACD aplayback
– output PCM instead of DSD, Multi-channel SACD is outputted as 2 channel PCM on HDMI2 which connect to an AMP
– hybrid disc may cause hang-up intermittently.
4. Fix red color button menu overlapping issue of Smart TV
5. Fix Youtube intermittent hang-up issue after long hours of playback
6. Improve compatibility with receivers
Thanks a lot for your patience whilst we are investigating this.
Kind regards,

Dear all,
For the MCU version, it should be 0x19. 0x20 should not be seen. Should you see 0x20 as the MCU version, kindly let me know so that I can further check this out for you.
Kind regards,

Dear all,
Since for the v3.80 firmware release, we have several threads opened discussing the same/similar matters. I would propose to centralize the discussion here in this thread:
http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...-been-released
The firmware v3.80 has been uploaded to the support site today. However, it may take 1-2 days to be reflected.
Kind regards,
