Reading external subtitle files (SRT, SUB, USF etc.)
Hello Philips,
Is there a way my Phlips 42PFL6007 TV can read and show subtitle files when playing a movie with the same filename?
I tried to play a movie from my USB with a SRT-file. I also tried this connecting my NAS by using DLNA.
Both options do not show the subtitles. Is there a way the subtitles will be shown, other than burning the subtitles into the movie file?
When Googling, I can find some answers about Samsung TV's able to read subtitlies, but Philips TV's are not able. Is this information correct?
Regards,
Geert
