High temperature on my BDP5200/12 player

On that model is not implemented active cooling with vent, only passive alu heatsink on video processor! I upgraded it with little fan from laptop. Nidec 5v 2510 2.5CM d02x-05ts1 04 and I brought an electric voltage 5V from the internal USB cable management. Maybe add another Delta KSB0305HA 3015 3cm DC5V blower, Delta KSB0305HA 40 * 40 notebook fan or FAL3F12LHSL DC Blower Fan 5cm DC12V on the back to that expels hot air out. Now player no brakes and much more agile through the menu

I don´t have any problems with high temperature on my BDP5200/12...

    Maybe your BDP is defekt.

Why BDP7200/37 player have fan for ventilation on the back side!? Touch with
hand from above after one hour of watching a movie and tell me is it cool or hot?

BTW, many have reported that freezes after 50 minutes of playing and this mod solves all problems

It's not cool - but it's even not hot..it's just a bit more than hand-warm...

I watch for more hours of YouTube-VEVO in HD with NET TV and well heated. For what are you using it?

Mostly for watching TV-Recordings -made with PC- over the Network-Connection.
Somtimes with Disks (more DVD than BDP) and with Net-TV
