Adding my experience as a data point to this thread. I have the latest firmware and iPhone software; the camera is connected to the network and the live stream displays properly, but alerts don't work at all. No email notification, Dropbox recording, or even in-app alerts.

I've provided my user name to the Administrators by PM.

Sure hope this gets resolved soon; luckily I'm still within the return window!

Thank you very much. I followed the steps, basically removed my cameras from my account, and set them back up again, Notifications and Alerts are working on both cameras.

IOS badge app icon notifications aren't appearing. Comestic issue as Alerts are working.

    Thank you Joanna

Thank you for your patience. The alert issue has just been resolved!

You can verify using below steps:

    1. ADD your InSight Monitor with the latest InSight Application
    2. Remain at the same WIFI network, upgrade to latest Monitor firmware if it is prompted
    3. Enable the Alert, configure the Dropbox account, and enable your desired Alert source
    4. Remain inside the InSight Application, trigger the alert, like Motion and Audio;
    5. For iOS, you should able to get Prompt in a second, to tell motion/audio is detected
    6. If you do not see the prompt message, you may need to adjust your threshold or your action in order to see the Prompt message show up
    7. Once you receive the prompt message, you can exit the App via HOME key
    8. Wait for a while, normally take a minute from when you trigger the event, to see a Push message, again please make sure you have enabled the Alert in Notification Center

Please let us know if the issue still persists.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Regards,
    Joanna

iPhone Notifications from InSight app not working on iPhone 6. Please help!

Hello! I'm hoping that since it has been some time since a post was made here, that the solution to this problem is SUPER simple and easy!

I am not able to receive In.Sight notifications on my iPhone 6. (iOS 8.3).

I receive motion alerts when IN the app (pop-up menu that states motion is detected, with option to ignore or start streaming). I receive pop-up notifications on my desktop (via dropbox) stating that a file has been added to my dropbox account. The videos and pictures save just fine to dropbox. The problem is that if I am not actively using the app (ie, phone is in my pocket), I never receive an iPhone alert from the In.Sight app saying that motion was detected or a video was added to my dropbox. I have tried the folllowing:
---I have uninstalled and re-installed the App. (the Woox innovations one, not the old Philips one)
---I have de-activated and re-activated notifications in iPhone settings (with hard reboot each time).
---I have un-enabled and re-enabled alerts within the In.Sight app settings page.
---I have deleted and re-installed all cameras (and triggered an alert from within the app before returning to home screen).
---I have only one wireless network in the house, and have confirmed that all cameras and my iphone are on the same network.
---I have de-authorized and re-authorized my Dropbox account to allow access/recording to the In.Sight app.
After all this... STILL no alerts when motion is detected. This was one of the main reasons why I purchased the cameras and it is frustrating that it no longer works. (Used to work just fine before I upgraded from iPhone 4s to iPhone 6). Any help (or moral support) would be greatly appreciated. If, for some reason, this feature is no longer supported on iPhone 6, could somebody from Philips please let me know so I can stop trying in vain to fix this problem!?
    Thanks.

    Hello Rafal...
Yes. iPhone notification center is active, and the notifications for Philips In.Sight is turned on. (It was #2 on my list from my previous post):
    I have tried the folllowing:
    1) ---I have uninstalled and re-installed the App. (the Woox innovations one, not the old Philips one)
    2) ---I have de-activated and re-activated notifications in iPhone settings (with hard reboot each time).
    3) ---I have un-enabled and re-enabled alerts within the In.Sight app settings page.
    4) ---I have deleted and re-installed all cameras (and triggered an alert from within the app before returning to home screen).
    5) ---I have only one wireless network in the house, and have confirmed that all cameras and my iphone are on the same network.
    6) ---I have de-authorized and re-authorized my Dropbox account to allow access/recording to the In.Sight app.

Any other suggestions? I'm happy to post diagnositcs, or send via PM if that would help.
    Thanks again.

    Hello again,

Tech team have confirmed that you should still be getting push notifications even if the screen is off. I suspect some sort of incompatibility with the latest iOS 8.3 as it's only just been released. We need some more time to investigate.

In the meantime, if you can, please try with another iPhone with older iOS 8.0

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team

Thank you for the reply. Will try to dig up an old iPhone and try the notification service with that one. Not sure if this woudl help... but according to a Wikipedia page titled: "Apple Push Notification Service":
In iOS 8 and later, the maximum size allowed for a notification payload is 2 kilobytes; Apple Push Notification service refuses any notification that exceeds this limit. (Prior to iOS 8 and in OS X, the maximum payload size is 256 bytes.
That statement was cited with the following reference from Apple: https://developer.apple.com/library/...8194-CH100-SW1
