HTS5563/12 Upgrade verification failed
I just bought an HTS5563/12 system. The current software version is 1.09.06.4. When I try to do a software upgrade, it gives me the error "Upgrade verification failed". Doesn't matter if I try to upgrade over internet or USB.
What is the problem and how do I solve this?

just to check:
USB formatted in FAT or NTFS?
UPG_ALL folder properly unzipped and in root directory of the USB?

Yes and yes. Same happens when trying to upgrade over internet remember.

I have the same problem with HTS5593/H12. There is no differnt, if i try to upgrade with USB or Internet!
I get always the same error: "Upgrade verification failed"

The name of the file in the UPG_ALL directory is: HTS_5563.bin
Should i modify the name, because i have the HTS 5593?

Same problem here with HTS5591/12. Verification fails for the 1.52 firmware using either Internet or USB.
I'll follow this thread for a solution.

Dear Users,
this issue has been fixed now. The new software version 1.52.00 is available only for devices Mark 1with the serial number starting PT1A. This firmware mainly fixes the audio sync bug. There is no firmware update for devices Mark 2 with serial number starting PT1B as there were no bugs reported so far.
This ECD issue for Mark 2 has been corrected and you will not be prompted to download a new software version 1.52.00 anymore. In case you have already tried to download the firmware that was not meant for your device and got the message about failed upgrade verification, you don't need to worry as the functionality of your device will not be affected whatsoever.
Software upgrade notification for HTS5563, HTS5583, HTS5593:
Version 1.52.00
This firmware is only aplicable for devices with serial number starting "PT1A"
- Improved Audio-Sync
- Fixed System Bugs
