    Question DS9800 standby noise

Is it supposed to be a slight noise when the speakers are in standby mode -- that is not playing any thing? Its not terrible loud but if I get close to the speakers it kind of sounds like the wind blowing. It's the same noise on both channels and it doesn't matter if I have the 3,5mm cable connected.

hi tor2dbear, this doesn't sound right at all. the speakers should not make any noice when in standby noise. I would take take it to your local service centre.
