MCB204 and CSS2123 same remote codes
Hi All,
Hoping you have some suggestions. I have a Philips CSS2123 Sound Bar and Philips MCB204 Micro system.
Both these units have a power toggle, as opposed to discrete on/off buttons. The remote codes these two units use are obviously the same, whenever I switch my sound bar on or off the micro system does the same. This is an absolute disaster from my point of view with both units in the same room.
Does anyone have a clue how I can get around this problem?
It's incredibly short sighted of Philips, and if anything discourages purchasing multiple devices from them.
Thanks.

You can block the IR sensor in one of the devices , so that only the other one responds. Think that's all you can do

Wow... so disappointing. Won't bother buying Philips products again.
Thanks for your advice.
