DC290/37 always plays music when iPhone is docked
A new feature has recently appeared on my DC290/37 alarm clock. Every time I plug in my iPhone, it starts playing music. This is pretty annoying since I don't want music to play when I charge my phone for the night. How do I make it so it won't automatically play music. Reading the manual, it says it won't play until I select the source I want to play from.
Any help here is appreciated.

Hi dougstrach,
have you try to reset both devices? For the DC unplug it from the mains for a while and set again from the scratch. I would also reset your iPhone (holding the home and lock button for as long you see the iphone logo). Also, do you have the newest iPhone software update?

I got an email from Philips support suggesting the device reset which I did last night. No results there. I'm running 6.1.2 on my iPhone, which I'm sure is the latest. In Fact, I think that updating the iPhone is what ultimately caused the issue. I've looked everywhere for an "autoplay on docking" setting, but there just isn't one.
Looks like eBay for my radio and something new for the bedside.
Thanks for your help.

I heard that it may also help to reset your iPhone after updating to a new software (pressing the home and lock button until the logo appears).
