Hi,

The manual that came with the TV has some extra steps to the one online.

Could anyone please tell me what step 9 in the picture is telling me to do, and also what the wine glass symbol means?

Hi Trumpet.


Please follow the manual online as this is the correct one. The extra steps (step 9) from the one that came your TV, should not be followed. Step 9 means take off the protective film, however there is not a protective film on your TV.

Hi Benedickte, thanks for the quick reply.

I thought that's what it meant. The problem is, we already peeled off what we presumed was the protective film, which snapped near the bottom of the screen and has made a mess.

When I asked at the shop where we bought it, they told me it definitely does not mean to peel it off, so it appears they are wrong then!

Do you have any idea what we can do now as there are bits we can't remove sticking out from under the bottom frame? Is it the retailer's responsibility as they provided a manual with incorrect instructions?

The film is not meant to be peeled off. The instructions are not the retailer's responsibility.
