Problem to switch sound from TV repro to the stereo repro via receiver

Hi, I would like get advice how to properly connect and set up TV Phillips 42PFL4007H/12 and Onkyo receiver TX-SR508.

I can watch TV with TV repro and I would like to use repro connected to the reciver.
What part of settings must be enebled on TV and on receiver to be able switching between TV repro and ONKYO repro?

I have one HDMI cable between TV and Onkyo. DVD recorder is connected via HDMI to the receiver.

    thanks a lot

    Hi Alka,

Could you please explain what you mean by "repro" in this context?

From what I can gather you have the following equipment:

    - TV (Philips)
    - Set top box (for receiving TV channels)
    - Amplifier/receiver (Onkyo)
    - DVD player

Am I correct? Please give as much information about which connection type you are currently using and where you are having issues.

Ensure the Onkyo is connected to the HDMI1 (ARC) port of your TV for sound return.

    Best regards,
    Ina
