    Sort order

I have a 40PFL7605H/05 TV and generally I plug in an external hard disk through USB to view media. I noticed that the media is not completely sorted in alphabetical order. I could have a batch sorted properly followed by another unordered batch etc.

Appreciate if anyone could let me know whether media can be sorted properly on the TV or whether there is something I can do whilst copying the files to have them sorted.

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

this is the same issue as on the Blu-ray players: http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...of-USB-content

I'd like to have an sorting order option, too.

    Hi,

I recognized, that the failed are often sorted in the same way than I copied them onto the USB device. So in most cases the file which was copied at first will be shown at the first position.

That's why i use one of the solutions described here: http://www.murraymoffatt.com/software-problem-0010.html.
The batch file is in http://www.murraymoffatt.com/sortfolder.zip. It's easy to modify for your needs...
