Player problem. Connect to PC.
Is this the right forum? After reformatting (probably clicked something wrong) my mp3 player he now says "Player problem. Connect to PC". I have no idea what happened. The player is roughly 7 years old and I don't have the cd's anymore. Is it possible to fix it?
Is there anyway to get the necessary software like a device manager? Or any other solution? My model is GoGear SA111X Please help.
P.S. He (my player) now says that there is no files yet there is, and no memory available...

How about trying to install the sw again? Maybe that will help. 7 years is quite a long time though....

I understand this software won't work on win7, right? And also is there a big difference between SA110X ans SA111X? Will software work for both? Because I found 110 and like I said I have 111.

Actually the answer to your conection problem is in the FAQs:
'Player problem. Connect to PC':
1. Connect your player to the PC.
2. Open windows explorer.
3. Open 'my computer' and select your player.
4. Right click and select: Format. Select FAT or FAT32 file system and press start to format your player.
The software unfortunately won't work on the 111.
Hope this helps,
