    Mcd183/12

    Hi

    Would anyone know if you can use the MCD183 as a normal DVD player,my standalone player as just packed up and my partner has this MCD183 system.

    Have tried to connect the audio output from the unit to the input on my Sony 5.1 AV receiver but there is no Audio output from the Sony amp speakers, everything is set up correctly but am just wondering if it is not compatible with the amplifier within the unit

    Any assistance gratefully appreciated

    hi casarosa, i would try to use the cable with single jack connector inserted in the headphones out on your MCD and RCA connectors on the other side inserted to your sony. hopefully that will work
