    Unhappy BDP 5180 unable to upgrade

    my player will not play Avatar and life of Pi 3d discs.i tried to upgrade my player from version 1.5 to 1.62 using both the USB and the hardwired network cable. in both cases the device has stated that there are no upgrades available can you help?

    Hi,

    - download the update from support website (be sure to have the right strike version: e.g. /12)
    - format USB stick with FAT
    - extract the downloaded ZIP and copy the folder + bin to the root
    - should look like: USB-Stick:\UPG_ALL\BDP5180.bin
    - remove any disc
    - insert usb stick
    - start update
