MY dbp 9700 does not play recorded dvd's

My panasonic can make records on dvd. It uses UDF files, a popular type of file. I can not play back such a dvd on the philips bluray player. How is that possible? Is there no udf player inside?

    Hi,

Good question. I looked in the leaflet, see below, for this player and could not find anything in regards to UFD files.
